Here at Mountain Air Organic Beds™ we want to make sure that you have all the information you need about your new Mountain Air products. Listed below are our express product warranty policies. Because our beds are custom-made, all warranties (except for our express warranties as described below), including warranty of merchantability and warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, are expressly disclaimed.

If you need to exchange any layers within 30 days of your purchase, we will provide your new layers free of charge; you will be responsible for all shipping and handling. After 30 days, you can exchange layers for the standard layer price plus all shipping and handling.
MATTRESS WARRANTY 25-Year Limited Warranty
MOAB, Inc.™ guarantees that your Mountain Air Organic Beds™ mattress will be replaced or repaired at our option should it be deemed defective due to faulty workmanship or structural defects within twenty-five (25) years of the purchase, excluding the specific limitations contained herein. This warranty covers any deterioration in the cell-structure of the latex that causes the mattress to have a visible indentation greater than the one and one half inch (1.5”), not associated with a sag in the foundation, box springs or platform.
This warranty does not cover aberrations in the natural latex known as “natural variances;” i.e., areas of minor discoloration in new latex or the natural yellowing that occurs as latex ages, horizontal tears or cracks less than three inches in length, lateral tears or cracks that penetrate less than the full thickness of the latex sheet, and evidence of black and/or white debris or discoloration that is deemed to be residue of the natural latex baking process.
Furthermore, if the latex core of a Mountain Air Organic Beds™ mattress has been exposed to chemical cleaners, water, fluids, direct sunlight, or direct heat (from an electric mattress pad, for example), such exposure will void this warranty. Mountain Air is not responsible for claims related to latex allergy, other sensitivities whether known or discovered at a later date. Mountain Air is not responsible for any damage caused to the mattress by spills, burns, accidents, growth of mold, or other acts of nature. This warranty does not cover issues related to smell, comfort, or personal taste, rather only to issues related to material quality and workmanship.
Latex Layers
The core of the Mountain Air Organic Beds™ mattress is built from individual layers of organic latex. Therefore, whenever possible, structural issues or defects will be addressed one layer at a time.
Within the first ten (10) years of the purchase, Mountain Air will repair or replace the latex layer(s) or mattress casing if it is deemed defective at no charge to you. Within 11 to 25 years of purchase, Mountain Air will, at our option, repair or replace the latex layer(s) or mattress casing if it is deemed defective. For repairs, we will charge you a nominal handling fee of $25.00. For replacement, we will charge you a prorated replacement fee, the amount to be determined by your original purchase price. For replacement during the eleventh year of this warranty, the prorated replacement charge you pay will be fifty percent (50%) of the original purchase price.
For replacement after the eleventh year but before this warranty expires, the prorated charge you pay will increase by three.three three percent (3.33%) for each subsequent year of the prorated period (i.e., 53.33% of the original purchase price if replaced during year eleven; 56.66% of the original purchase price if replaced during year twelve; up to 96.67% of the original purchase price if replaced during year twenty five, etc.).
Within one year of purchase, Mountain Air will pay for all shipping and handling on approved warranty claims. After the first year, you will be responsible all shipping and handling on approved warranty claims.
Weight Limitations
Be aware that we normally advise against configuring a mattress with two or more soft layers for an individual weighing 200 lbs. or more. If an individual with this body mass orders a mattress configured in this manner, this circumstance will be taken into consideration when processing a warranty claim and may affect said claim. We also advise against three or more soft layers in any circumstance. This circumstance will also be taken into consideration when processing a warranty claim and may affect said claim.
Mattress Support and Foundations
Our mattresses are designed to rest on a rigid, non-spring slatted foundation, an adjustable bed base, a slatted platform bed with a maximum spacing of three and a half inches (3.5”) between slats, or a slatted platform bed with a maximum spacing of three inches (3”). This warranty and other performance guarantees are based on tests conducted on foundations like these. Therefore, if you use inappropriate foundations or box springs with our mattress, such use will void this warranty and all other warranties.
Non-Transferability
This warranty is valid only to the original purchaser of the mattress and is not transferable.
Transportation
If Mountain Air deems the mattress not defective, all transportation costs are the responsibility of the purchaser and are additional to any other charges. In the event an item needs to be returned to Mountain Air, that item needs to be shipped to mountain Air within ten (10) days of the request.
Proof of Purchase
You must provide proof of purchase to Mountain Air for any warranty claim or layer exchange.
WOOD PRODUCTS WARRANTY
2-Year Limited Warranty MOAB Inc.™ guarantees that your Mountain Air Organic Beds™ hand-crafted wood product will be replaced or repaired at our option should it be deemed defective because of faulty workmanship or structural defects within two (2) years of the purchase, excluding the specific limitations contained herein.
This warranty covers any deterioration or structural failure of your wood product not associated with damage through use of cleaners, application of other finishes, misuse or modification. Naturally finished wood is a living product and will age in patina over time, as well as develop cracks due to its environment. Such normal aging of a living product that does not affect the structural soundness of the product is excluded from the terms of this warranty. Mountain Air is not responsible for any damage caused to the wood product by spills, burns, accidents, growth of mold, or other acts of nature. This warranty does not cover issues related to smell, comfort, or personal taste, rather only to issues related to material quality and workmanship.
